33 Days to Morning Glory
Consecration to Jesus Through Mary
Want to Grow in Holiness, But Too Busy?
Want to transform your work, your marriage, your family, and your life, but don't have time? Looking for the quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness, but don't know where to begin?
In our hectic day and time, Blessed John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa knew that the quickest way to be transformed into a saint is through a relationship with Our Blessed Mother, Mary. Mary leads us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Starting with the book 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in Preparation for Marian Consecration, we will begin this journey together as a parish.
Join us on November 5th, as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. For six weeks, we'll individually read about and reflect on four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Blessed Mother Teresa, and Blessed John Paul II. They'll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. You can do it on your own, with your family, or in a small group and in weekly meetings, share insights and watch a 30-minute video by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, that helps bring individual reflections and group experience into a clear and live-able focus.
If you are looking for a simple way to be spiritually renewed, develop a deeper relationship with Our Merciful Savior, and grow in holiness, join us for 33 Days to Morning Glory. Our experience will culminate on December 8th, The Feast of the Immaculate Conception. There will be a special 11:00 AM Mass for the consecration ceremony and blessing with Father Sizemore.
Who can do this? Women, men, teens, couples, families, small groups, committees... in other words, everybody! It can be done as a group or individually.
Existing Groups: What group or committee do you already belong to? Ask if some or all of the group members would like to do the 33-day Consecration. Those who participate would read the daily chapters at home, and then discuss them before or after your regular meetings.
New Groups: Sue Stalter is coordinating new groups. Contact her if you are looking for a group to join, and if you are willing to be a group leader. mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org Workbooks and DVD's are available for this type of group.
Couples, Families, and Individuals: Simply read the daily pages of 33 Days to Morning Glory each day from November 5 to December 8. We already have over 20 of our teens committed@

"This is making new something very old. Catholics for centuries have been doing the consecration. It fell out of use among mainstream Catholicism in the past two generations, but now it is coming back. Many Catholics are rediscovering it." -Father Dave Sizemore
