Bulletin Guidelines

Bulletin Deadlines All articles need to be submitted by Noon on Monday for the current week's bulletin. This is posted on the front of the bulletin. There are some exceptions, due to holidays, which are posted in the bulletin and announced in the after-Mass Announcements.
Article Content & Length Bulletin articles should be short and concise with contact information specifically stated. All articles MUST be written; no verbal articles will be accepted. E-mail is the best way to submit your articles, although faxes and mail are acceptable. All articles are subject to editing for length and repetitious content.
Duration of Publication
Condolences/Anniversary Notices/Thank You Notices/Congratulations will run for one (1) week.
Baptisms/First Communion/Confirmation/Wedding Announcement will run for one (1) week after receipt of sacrament, or as soon as the names are received by the Bulletin Editor.
Diocesan News run for one (1) week.
Parish Programs/Functions/Events run for two (2) consecutive weeks prior to the event. No more than a two week run will be permitted per Event, during the month the event is being held. However, if you would like to place a "Save the date" type article the month(s) preceeding your event, that can for (2) consecutive weeks.
Wedding Banns run for 1 week prior to the wedding date.
Weekly Bulletin Items The items that will appear weekly: Prayer Chain; Future Baptism Dates; Choir Notes; Collection Counters; Mass Intentions; Mass Intentions for the Next Week; & Pregnancy Decision Health Center’s hotline. The Life Teen, Eucharistic Adoration & Heaven's Roll Call sections will remain weekly, as long as new articles are received weekly. These must be new articles, not a rotation of the same articles.
Bulletin INSERTS A bulletin insert is an 8-1/2 x 11 Page. Due to the high volume of requests, Inserts must bescheduled and approved by the Bulletin Editor. Per the Printing Company, we are permitted 2 double-sided Insert Sheets (four single pages). An Insert may only run one (1) time. An Insert cannot be in the bulletin the same week as an article. The deadline for inserts is Noon on Monday prior to your scheduled weekend. Please plan accordingly.
