Catholic Christian Counselors offer faith-based professional counseling services to St. John Neumann parishioners and as an outreach to our surrounding community.* We believe that true healing can be accomplished through our Christian faith and prayer, and by utilizing the principles of counseling. Applying the fundamentals of counseling with the teachings and spirituality of our Church, can help people regain their health and grow as individuals, in their relationships, and as families.
The counseling office will be located at the parish offices, just down the road from the Church. The counseling office has its own access door, for parishioners who may not feel comfortable going through the reception area of the parish offices. Parishioners can contact the counselors for an appointment via the weekly parish bulletin or the parish website.
The counselors will also being offering peer support programs for folks who are experiencing separation and divorce, grief and loss, and for marriage enrichment.
All of the counseling services and programs are offered in a confidential and professional environment with the goal of helping individuals and families enhance their day to day living through the strengthening of their spiritual, emotional and physical well being.
We pray that God bless the services we offer here, and bless you as you continue to grow in a deeper relationship with Christ.

* These counselors are not on the SJN staff. Rather, they are practicing Catholics who are licensed counselors/social workers. They are with counseling groups that allow them to offer their services in satellite locations. Their counseling is offered on a fee basis, with one of them also being able to take insurance. Seeing their counseling service as a ministry, they can offer a reduction in their fees, based upon financial need. No person will be turned away because of finances. Please consult with them regarding these matters, if you have any questions or concerns. The parish does not receive any portion of their fees nor does it charge them rental fees for the use of office space.
