Youth Ministry Code of Conduct

Evangelization is also a big part of our ministry; reaching out to all of our teens (8-12th grade) in the parish is our goal. If your teen hasn’t joined yet, contact Wendi to find out how to get them started. We have something for everyone.  TIP: Encourage your teen to get homework done BEFORE Sunday night & to ask off work.

Winter Retreat

This year’s retreat is February 22-24 at Camp Damascus in Centerburg.  The retreat will begin Friday night at 7 pm and end Sunday at Noon.  To register, complete the Youth Ministry Permission Form (see link, above) and submit with payment of $95.  If you have already submitted a permission form this year, you are good to go – just submit your payment by February 7.  Checks can be made payable to St. John Neumann.  Please contact Kate if there is a need for fundraising or scholarship assistance, or if you have any questions about the retreat.

Service

All year we try to incorporate service opportunities into our schedule. In the summer  of 2017 combined our Blessed Week Ever efforts with Resurrection and served in Central Ohio. Some of our favorite places to serve are: Soup Kitchens, Homeless Families Foundation, Nursing Homes, Run the Race, Vineyard Urban Ministries and various other venues.
