Our wholesale Christmas-Holiday, Home Décor, & Gift products company needs an upbeat, motivated experienced professional for a part-time telemarketer to join our team to support the outside sales representative. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the phone with leads, call-back responses to emailed marketing blasts, and regular communication with all current and prospective customers. We’d like to talk especially to those with 2+ years inside sales experience.

Responsibilities
• Place phone calls to potential customers from assigned lists
• Answer potential customers’ questions about products
• Build rapport respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times
• Generate between 5 to 15 positive sales leads per day
• Set appointments with prospective and current customers based on our sales rep’s schedule
• Contact potential/current customers following marketing email blasts for sales
• Maintain database, MS Outlook with contact information and call notes
• Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisor

Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales (lead generation preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience telemarketing
• Excellent phone manner and articulation
• Ability to type minimum 40 WPM (words per minute)
• Ability to cope with rejection on a daily basis
• MS Office Suite experience in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
• Knowledge of Google Maps a plus
• Ability to work independently in a team environment
• Background check required
