My House Columbus is a collaborative effort between Columbus Catholic Men’s Ministry, Columbus Catholic Women’s Ministry, and the Diocese of Columbus.
Protecting Your Family
The My House Initiative is devoted to helping married couples experience better intimacy and protecting families from pornography. One of the best paths to stronger marriages, happier families, and more joy is a collection of new teachings on sexuality called the Theology of the Body, which is being called a “new sexual revolution.”
If you or someone you love struggles with pornography, you are not alone, and there is hope! There are a variety of support groups, men’s & women’s ministries, counselors, spiritual directors, and other resources for long-term freedom. More information can be found by clicking the link above.
As part of our commitment to encourage chastity within our parish and to provide a potential source of healing for those struggling with issues related to sexual integrity, St. John Neumann is proud to host a chapter of the Castus Society.
The Castus Society is a fellowship dedicated to the advancement of chastity, not only for ourselves, but for all of society. The only requirement for membership is a personal desire to live a chaste life in harmony with your vocation (single, married, religious) and to help others achieve the same. We use 12-Step principles to help in the healing process for those in need, but we are not group counseling. The Castus Society is a Catholic fellowship that supports and upholds all that the Catholic Church teaches.
If you have any questions or would like more information about My House or The Castus Society, please feel free to contact our parish representative Tim Lott at 614-918-8299.
