Parish Center Campaign

In the spring of 2011, St. John Neumann parish conducted a major capital campaign. Our purpose was to raise the funds needed to build aParishCommunity Center, renovate the existing Social Hall into Parish Offices and meeting rooms, add more parking, build a new larger outdoor pavilion and do extensive site work.

The initial solicitation phase of the campaign was a great success. Many generous parishioners came forward to help us achieve our goal. As a new member of St. John Neumann, I am now asking for your financial support. Even though we met our fundraising goals, we live in a transient area. Some of our parishioners who made five year pledges, up to June 30, 2016, will move out of the area during this period for a variety of reasons, such as job relocations. Sometimes when this happens, they will be unable to complete their pledges. Thus, receiving pledges from new parishioners is critical for the parish to avoid finding itself in substantial debt during these next few years of our pledge redemption & retention drive. In addition, over the next few years our parish will need to look at another building phase: expanding the size of our church building. Along these lines, if we collect more funds than is needed to pay off our current building project, these extra funds will become seed money for the future church expansion project. Also, we are a faith family here at St. John Neumann. Many of our families have sacrificed a great deal to bring about not only all the faith formation and spiritual growth opportunities here, but also the facilities for them. It is our hope and prayer that you will consider joining us in making a sacrificial gift to our campaign, both in appreciation for what is and in generosity for what will be.
