Catholic Schools

As a parishioner you may want to send your children to a local Catholic elementary school or high school. The two closest elementary schools in our area are St. Paul School in Westerville and St. Mary School in Delaware.

Normally, they open their registration process around February of each year. Both areas are growing rather quickly, so enrollment is often limited and guided by diocesan criteria.

If you are interested in sending your children to either school, or another parish school in the area, your first step should be to contact the school and have them send you an enrollment packet. The same holds true for local area diocesan high schools. The nearest area co-ed high school is St. Francis DeSales High School. Our diocese has one all-boys high school: St. Charles Preparatory School.

According to diocesan policy, St. John Neumann Parish does offer our parents some financial support in the form of a subsidy when you send your children to a local parish or diocesan school. For details on the amount of support being offered in any given year, the school can provide this information to you. Normally, you will need to request a "Subsidy Agreement Form," to be signed by the pastor of St. John Neumann.
