The SJN Job Seekers Ministry (SJN JSM) is a ministry established to provide a faith based networking group for the unemployed or under-employed in our parish. This ministry is designed to provide the chance to learn and practice tips and tricks necessary in today's environment to find a job.
We offer prayer, support, encouragement, learning and networking opportunities. Join us as a group once a month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on the second Thursday of the month. Or, contact Pat to set up a 1:1 conversation around your specific needs. We have folks who can review your resume, help you practice interviewing or just provide an overall perspective on your job search. In addition, join the group site to find documents about how to write a resume or what questions to be prepared to respond to in an interview. The ministry is open to all parishioners over 18 who are seeking full time employment. In addition, we are always looking for employed parishioners who can provide coaching and advice to those seeking employment.
