St. John Neumann is pleased to welcome our new pastor, Fr. Paul Noble.   Fr. Noble is the current Director of Vocations for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus and pastor of four small parishes in Perry County.  He is a very capable pastor.  He was pastor at St. Matthew Parish before he became the Director of Vocations.  During his time at St. Matthew Fr. Noble oversaw tremendous growth in the parish and the construction of a brand new church and offices, the renovation of the offices/rectory into a rectory, and renovation of another building and expansion of the school.  He is trained as a missionary priest, where he started his formation and priesthood with PIME – Pontifical Institute for Missionary Evangelization.  While with PIME, he was the principal of their high school seminary, which is now SS. Peter and Paul Retreat Center in Newark, Ohio.  Around that time, he discerned that God was calling him to serve the people of the Diocese of Columbus. He became the principal of one of our high schools, and later the superintendent of all of our diocesan schools.  He has a PhD in education and is highly respected among priests and laity alike.  He sits on the boards of SPO (St. Paul Outreach), which is forming Catholic Christians in college campuses to be evangelizers and leaders, and Damascus Catholic Mission Campus/Catholic Youth Summer Camp, which serves over 1,700 high and middle school students in a high adventure and Holy Spirit-driven summer camp. He is good with people and a wise, well experienced leader and communicator.  St. John Neumann is blessed to have Fr. Noble join us as our new pastor; he loves the Church, has a great sense of humor, is a delegator and a collaborator, and according to Fr. Dave, Fr. Noble is a good preacher who is not as long-winded as Fr. Dave.

Please join us as we welcome Fr. Paul to St. John Neumann!
