Marian Consecration

We invite all of our parishioners to consecrate themselves to Jesus through his mother, Mary.  Hundreds of our parishioners have already consecrated themselves to Jesus through Mary.  Many have used the 33 day retreat that you can do at home on your own called, “33 Days to Morning Glory” by Father Michael Gaitley.

Have you ever wondered about Marian consecration?  What does consecration mean?  Why should I consecrate myself or my family to Jesus through Mary?  Fr. Michael Gaitley’s book addresses these questions in a user-friendly, do-it-yourself retreat.  The retreat lasts 33 days ending on a Marian feast day.  Each day, you will spend 5-10 minutes readying Fr. Gaitley’s teachings on Marian consecration from four spiritual masters:  St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. John Paul II, and St. Louis de Montfort.

Before starting the consecration retreat, you must select a Marian feast day for the Consecration, and then count back 33 days for the starting date. To make it easier, use this link for a list of feast days and starting days.

Come Holy Spirit, living in Mary.  Help us grow closer to Jesus through Mary.  Thank you for such a quick, easy, and secure path to holiness!
