Altar Servers

The ministry of altar serving requires dedication, attentiveness to detail and appropriate reverence for the sacred articles and solemnity of the liturgy.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Parishioners who are in good standing with the teachings and practices of the Catholic Church are encouraged to participate in this wonderful ministry of distributing the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ during the Holy Mass.

Greeters & Ushers

Greeters/ushers serve at the weekend Masses by welcoming parishioners and visitors as they enter the church.

Music Ministry

Our parish is blessed with many talented musicians and vocalists, and we are always looking for more participants in this wonderful ministry of praising God and leading our parish family in song during our liturgies.


Sacristans prepare the altar and sanctuary for the Mass and wash vessels after daily and weekend Liturgy.

Prayer Chain & Email Prayer Chain

Do you know someone who is in need of prayers? You can call or email your prayer request and it will be passed along to everyone on either the phone prayer chain or the e-mail prayer chain.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The St. John Neumann Prayer Shawl Ministry, Hands Uniting God’s Spirit (HUGS), reaches out to those in need of comfort or solace through the loving and prayerful creation of handmade knitted, crocheted, sewn, or quilted items.

Pregnancy Support Ministries

Our Ministry for Dignity of Human Life seeks to support women in all stages of pregnancy and beyond the birth of her baby.

SJN Military Support Group

This group comes together for prayerful support of SJN military members and their families.

Adult Euchre

St. John Neumann’s Euchre card club provides an opportunity for socializing and playing cards! If you don’t know how to play, we can teach you. Join us whenever you can on the second Thursday of every month.

Children's Holiday Parties

The Children's Holiday Parties are a chance for families to come together and celebrate Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Columbian Squires

The Knights of Columbus has formed a Columbian Squires program at St. John Neumann.

Community Festival

The purpose of the festival committee is to establish an annual parish-wide festival which promotes our faith based community, supports our parish organizations and maintains a permanent endowment for the long term support of the parish.

Golf Scramble

The St. John Neumann Golf Scramble is open to men and women–invite your family, friends and/or neighbors to join in on the fun!

Holiday Craft Bazaar

The annual holiday craft bazaar is held the second Saturday in November.

Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family service organization with over 1.6 million members and operates in 16 countries.

Lenten Fish Fry

The Men’s Club coordinates the Lenten Fish Fry on each Friday of Lent. This activity is a wonderful way to celebrate our Catholic culture.

Men's Club

The men’s club meets every second Monday evening of each month at 6:30 pm in the Parish Office Lower Level for a meeting and dinner.

Mommy & Me

The Mommy and Me Faith Sharing Play Group is for children kindergarten age and younger and their caregiver.

New Year's Eve Dinner Dance

Ring in the New Year with fellow parishioners! The evening begins with a Mass at 6:00 pm, followed by appetizers, a cocktail hour and dinner. Live music for dancing will be provided.

Older Wiser Laughing Souls (OWLS)

The O.W.L.S. is a group of men and women, 55 and older, who meet several times a year for lunch, usually on a Friday, at a local eatery. Our goal is to foster new friendships, socialize and enjoy fellowship.

Sunday Morning Coffee & Donuts

All parishioners are encouraged to gather for coffee, donuts and fellowship in the Faith and Family Center.

Women's Club

The Women’s Club meets every first Monday of the month beginning at 6:30 pm. All women of the parish are members and new women are always welcome.

Young Adult Ministry

Young Adult Ministry seeks to make disciples of those that are 18 – 35 years old in our parish community.
